Lead Frontend Engineer · Cantant (2024 – 2025)

At Cantant, I led the frontend of a B2C business management platform used by over 5,000 solo entrepreneurs and small businesses. My initial goal was to deliver a polished desktop version of the platform, but the role quickly expanded.

I built over 100 reusable React components, including advanced tables with filtering, sorting, and pagination, and interactive charts for user and revenue insights. I integrated payment flows using Paystack and Paddle, improving onboarding and transactions and boosting conversion by 36%.

Beyond coding, I shaped how the team approached frontend architecture: introducing Recoil and TypeScript for more predictable state management, improving code quality through refactoring and documentation, and mentoring junior engineers. Together, these efforts helped Cantant become faster, more reliable, and more intuitive for users.

Frontend Engineer · Crust Microfinance Bank (2022 – 2024)

At Crust, I built GreenBanker, a fintech platform for salary disbursement and internal finance operations. Working alongside four frontend teams, I designed onboarding workflows, transaction modules, roles & permissions, and analytics dashboards.

I also built an internal monitoring dashboard that automated manual processes, increasing operational efficiency by 55%. By re-architecting slow components, I improved render performance and overall responsiveness by 40%. Collaborating closely with backend, design, and QA teams, I helped create a seamless, production-ready platform.
